On February 26, José Wendt passed away in Gorssel at the age of 70. José came into contact with the Karel Stegeman Toernooi through her husband Henk, who passed away 21 years ago much too early. She has done all kinds of support activities for our tournament for many years and until a few years ago she was responsible for coordinating the daily lunches for the participating teams.
We wish her son Jeroen, his wife Gerdie and their children Koen and Lola a lot of strength in bearing and coping with this great loss.
