In the morning of the third day of the PLUS Stam KST, the semi-finals, a Dutch and a Scandinavian, were played. In the first match, Halmstads BK won 1-0 against Silkeborg IF and FC Groningen decided the mutual battle against De Graafschap 2-1 just before the end.
As a result, defending champion Halmstads BK and debutant FC Groningen qualify for the final. Prior to this final, Silkeborg IF claimed third place after beating De Graafschap 3-0.
In the final, FC Groningen took the lead early in the first half through a goal from Robin Kelder and Edmond Berisha equalized for Halmstads BK in the second half. Both teams failed to score, so extra time was necessary. There was no score in this either, so that penalty kicks had to bring the decision. FC Groningen turned out to have the best nerves and won the 37th edition of the PLUS Stam KST.
