After an absence of 8 years, AS Trencin will return to the PLUS Stam Karel Stegeman Tournament in 2025 and the Slovaks will return as domestic champions. The team finished the 2023/24 season in the U19 1. Liga with 59 points from 26 games, trailing numbers 2 and 3, Slovan Bratislava and Spartak Trnava, with a difference of 13 and 15 points.
In the period from 2011 to 2017, AS Trencin participated 6 times and won the tournament in 2013 and 2014.
