For the first time, a Nigerian team is participating in the PLUS Stam KST (Karel Stegeman Toernooi). Next year, Garden City Panthers FC from Abuja will make their debut at our tournament. The club comes to our country with their U19 and U14 team and the latter team takes part in the Den Bosch International Tournament during the Pentecost weekend.
Garden City Panthers FC was founded in 2003. The club is a multi-dimensional training center with a focus on training, coaching and support needed to guide football players with potential towards a professional career. A gradual build-up has been chosen, which has now led to the U18 team taking part in the Viareggio Cup in Italy in 2022 and this year the U19 team in Denmark taking part in the Dana Cup, which tournament the team managed to win.
