Between 2008 and 2019, the club participated seven times in the PLUS Stam KST (Karel Stegeman Toernooi) with players such as Nick Viergever, Marten de Roon, Deroy Duarte, Halil Dervisoglu, Ilias Bel Hassani, Abdou Harroui and Mohamed Sankoh, and next year Sparta Rotterdam comes to our tournament for the eighth time.
In the aforementioned seven participations, Sparta reached the final no fewer than four times. In 2008, 2013 and 2018, however, the Spartans had to acknowledge their superiority in respectively IF Elfsborg, AS Trencin and Kalmar FF, but in 2017 they defeated Halmstads BK and the challenge trophy went to Rotterdam.
